From volunteering a few hours each day during the Festival in July to joining an event team that plans and executes specific activities or events, we’re looking for your help!

We have opportunities to support activities like assisting with art exhibits and the logo store to events like Boat Building, Sand & Kite, Street Festival, and more

The Marblehead Festival of Arts operates throughout the year, not just during the 4th of July Festival, and volunteer service areas include finance, facilities, IT, event planning, fundraising and development, marketing, volunteering, and public relations.

Art Exhibit Sitters
Looking for volunteers to sit for 2-hour sessions at all of our 5 different venues. You will be asked to help and answer any questions visitors have while watching over the exhibit. Looking for two people per session (so sign up with your friend!) and be a part of the festival!

Monday, July 3rd from 10:00-1:00 at the Lee Mansion gardens for one of the Marblehead Festival of Arts’ classic and favorite events, the Children’s Festival! This free, hands-on, community art experience is primarily geared toward children under 10 years of age and children.

Information Booths
Looking for volunteers to help with the Info booths.
Knowledge of exhibit locations and information about Marblehead and the surrounding areas are helpful, but not necessary. Around the third week of June, you will be emailed a "brush-up" soft copy of the Info Booth Handbook that details Festival schedules, area maps, exhibit information and locations, trolly information, restaurant lists, walking maps, public restroom locations, etc."
