NICOLE HABIN LYNCH'S TRIUMPH IN FESTIVAL OF ARTS 2024 LOGO CONTEST

A Stunning Emblem of Community and Creativity Emerges for the 58th Festival

MARBLEHEAD -The Marblehead Festival of Arts is thrilled to announce Nicole Habin Lynch as the victor of the 2024 logo contest, revealed during an energetic Logo Premiere Party at The Landing Restaurant on January 23. Nicole's winning design, a captivating portrayal of Marblehead's coastal beauty with stylized waves and a sun in coral and navy, now stands as the emblem for the 58th Festival.

Nicole, a dedicated arts enthusiast and native of Marblehead, has been actively engaged in the festival for numerous years. With a background in Marketing Communications and a flourishing career at Keurig Dr Pepper, Nicole channels her lifelong passion for art and community into this remarkable design.

Bill Smalley, Co-Chair of the Logo Committee, commended the design: "Nicole's artwork beautifully captures the essence of our festival and the coastal allure of Marblehead. It's a visual celebration of our community's artistic journey."

“In Nicole's thoughtfully crafted design, we discover more than just a logo; it's a dynamic visual celebration and solidifies our commitment to portraying the festival as a must-attend event," Jodi-Tatiana Charles, President of the Marblehead Festival of Arts

The runner-up, Claire Ruocco, a junior at the University of Connecticut dual majoring in Real Estate and Digital Media & Design, also earned acclaim for her imaginative submission. Claire's artistic background, enriched by her business Yarnably and her role as President of UConn's Sailing Team, showcases the diverse talent that the Festival consistently attracts.

"The charm of Marblehead's art scene captivated even esteemed guests this year," shared Wayne George, proprietor of the beloved F.L. Woods. "Having Rupert Friend, the acclaimed actor, join our residents in voting for the Festival's logo truly underscores the widespread appeal and significance of our town's artistic heritage. It's a clear sign that the passion for the arts in Marblehead transcends far beyond our local shores, enchanting visitors of all notoriety."

The Marblehead Festival of Arts extends heartfelt congratulations to Nicole Habin Lynch for her outstanding contribution and expresses gratitude to Claire Ruocco and all other participants for their captivating designs.
