This event grows in popularity each year. It begins with a workshop in which participants construct model boats from kits which are provided, and ends with a regatta at Redd's Pond. Family team participation is encouraged; an adult must accompany all children.
After constructing your yacht on the grounds of Abbot Hall, bring it down to Redd’s Pond for her first sail. As always, last year’s models are welcome at the regatta. A $20.00 donation is requested to cover the cost of the kits, and supplies are limited. Happy sailing! |
