This is Janet and Ron Lamkin, two very nice people who have volunteered at the model boat kit reservation table for years. With model boats in high demand, it can be a difficult job to make sure as many families as possible get a model boat kit, so please arrive on time to your scheduled session!
This is Janet and Ron Lamkin, two very nice people who have volunteered at the model boat kit reservation table for years. With model boats in high demand, it can be a difficult job to make sure as many families as possible get a model boat kit, so please arrive on time to your scheduled session!

Just a quick note regarding model boat kits as the Festival is about to begin:

Please note that our model boat kits are specially made by hand for the Festival by one vendor, and supplies are limited every year. We strongly encourage any families wishing to build a model boat to reserve your model boat kit immediately, because there are extremely limited boat kits available for walk-up requests.

Additionally, if you have reserved your model boat, please show up on time for your model boat building session. Due to such a high demand, we cannot accommodate late arrivals, and you risk losing your reserved boat kit should you not arrive on time.

Model boat kits are $30, payable with cash or credit card on arrival at the Boat Building event.
