2026 Sculpture Judge: Gay Gillies
Gay Gillies has been an artist her entire life. Her art represents emotional responses and connections to her immediate environment. She draws inspiration from a broad and continually changing range of themes and works with many different mediums including fresco, oil, charcoal, paper, plaster, clay, and bronze. Much of her work melds ancient techniques using her own modern alchemy. She is a graduate of the Museum Fine Arts.Boston, Sculpture Program, The Fashion Institute in NY, as a milliner creating couture hats, a former dancer with Merce Cunningham Company, and has a BA from Hampshire College.
