About the Event

Step inside the imagination of the artist behind some of the most captivating public art creations.

Join Thomas Saltsman on Wednesday, June 24th for an engaging evening exploring the creative process behind the large-scale multi-media Halloween installations that have delighted the Marblehead community and visitors from around the Commonwealth for nearly 20 years.

Saltsman has designed unforgettable installations, immersive exhibits that seamlessly combine theater, art, and storytelling.

This 90-minute presentation will take audiences behind the scenes of these ambitious projects, showing how an idea evolves from early sketches into fully realized installations. Whether you are interested in art, design, Halloween culture, or simply enjoy seeing creativity at work, Saltsman’s talk will offer a unique look into the making of these remarkable installations.

Trained across multiple creative disciplines, Tom Saltsman studied Theater Arts at the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts), Environmental Design at Parsons School of Design, and earned a Master of Architecture degree from Harvard University.
