2019 Winning Logo to be Announced at the Logo Premiere

Everyone is invited to the Annual Logo Premiere Party on Tuesday January 22 from 6 to 9pm at The Landing Restaurant, 81 Front Street, Marblehead.

The 2019 Festival logo was chosen by public vote and will be displayed for the first time at the Premiere Party along with the top 20 logo entries.  Join the festivities, have dinner from 6 to 9pm (reservations please, 781-639-1266) and the premiere celebration starts around 7.15 to reveal the winning logo.

Every year the Festival is represented by a new logo selected from a design competition. This year three finalists, Kristen Nyberg, Alondra Acosta, and Amanda Sylveste, were chosen from 58 submissions by a panel of experts, including Lucille Grant Morton, former Festival Committee Chair of the Logo Contest and former owner of Image Concepts; Mary Melilli, Graphic Artist and Professor of Media and Communication at Salem State University and Wayne George, owner of F L Woods, Nautical Merchants, Marblehead.

Thousands of Marbleheaders cast votes to select the winner from the top three finalists.  The winning logo will be displayed on all products sold during the 2019 Festival as well as Festival promotional materials throughout the year.   “We had great participation in our logo contest this year, and we are always excited to present the finalists to the town in the new year” said Bill Smalley, Chair of the Logo Contest.

Lesli Mead, Co-Chair of the Logo Premiere. promises the premiere party will offer “a fun time, good food and a great way to start the New Year.  Come join us on Tuesday January 22nd as we begin a year-long celebration of the 54th year of the Marblehead Festival of Arts.”
