2020 Logo Contest
The Marblehead Festival of Arts invites professional and nonprofessional individuals who currently reside, work, attend a school, or belong to an arts association in Essex County, to submit entries for the 2020 Logo Contest. This long-standing competition, as old as the Festival itself, produces a one-of-a-kind design to symbolize each year's event.
2019 Logo Winner
From the entries, judges select fifteen to twenty designs as semifinalists; and from the semifinalists, select several finalists for presentation to the public. The public then determines the winner by ballot during December, 2019. The winner will be announced at the Logo Premiere Party in January, 2020 and will receive a prize of $150.
The winning logo is given wide visibility on the 2020 Festival's logo products—shirts, T-shirts, hats, wine glasses, and other memorabilia—available at the Festival's Logo Store. The new logo also adorns Festival posters, printed Festival Program, and the Festival Web site.
During the July 4th weekend Festival, the semifinalist and finalist designs are on display at the Logo Exhibit. Past logo winners can be viewed below.
The deadline for entries is Sunday, December 1, 2019 at 5:00pm. All entries should be dropped off at Abbot Public Library, 235 Pleasant Street, Marblehead MA 01945. Please note that the Library will be closed on Thursday/Friday, November 28/29 and open on that Saturday/Sunday. Please check the library’s website for hours.
