Christina Kingsbury Easthope, a Marblehead native and proud alumna of Salem State University with a B.F.A. in Theater Arts, is a vibrant presence in the local arts community. As a founding member of Counter-Productions Theatre Company, Christina has produced and performed in plays across Boston and Rhode Island. She also serves on the Board of Directors for Marblehead Little Theatre.
For over 25 years, Christina has had the honor of contributing to her community through performances, notably her annual renditions of the National Anthem at the Eastern Yacht Club. Her memorable portrayal of Audrey in "Little Shop of Horrors" marked a milestone in the community, being the inaugural musical staged at the 'new' high school theater. Christina is also celebrated for her contributions to The Rebel Shakespeare Company.
Christina's dedication has earned her recognition, including the prestigious Dembowski Scholarship and finalist placement in the Kennedy Center's Irene Ryan Competition. Christina also shares her passion for the arts and community at The Beacon in Marblehead, where she works alongside her husband Sam. On her nights off, Christina graces The Beacon with her enchanting voice, often joining pianist Danny Kenney for soulful performances.
Grateful for the unwavering support of her family, including her father Garold and husband Sam, Christina is deeply honored to be a part of Marblehead's history and looks forward to celebrating independence with music in our beloved hometown.
