artisans' marketplace

come see our artisan creations

This year Artisans’ Marketplace will be

July 3rd (Tuesday)  10 AM to 5 PM

July 4th  (Wednesday) 10 AM to 4 PM

This event will be held on the grounds of historic Abbot Hall, 188 Washington St, home of the original painting of the Spirit of 76.  The Artisans Marketplace hosts some of the finest local artists as well as artists from all over New England.

New Artist - Andrea Trzaskos

Andrea creates functional and decorative ceramics that are hand built with sculpted and carved surface designs. She works free hand, never using a template or stencil so every piece is a unique one-of-a kind creation. For Artisans Marketplace Trzaskos plans to focus on decorative wall tiles as functional tableware including plates, bowls and serving platters.

New Artist - Judy Robinson-Cox

Lilliputian Landscapes are photographs of tabletop tableau construction Judy creates from food or Found Objects and populates with tiny plastic figures. The miniature people transform the scene into a world of its own. Cauliflower becomes a snow covered hill and winter squash become a construction site. Judy creates each scene entirely in front of the camera with no Photoshop or other computer tool to alter the picture.

Returning Artists Kent Stetson

Ken creates artistic printed clutches and fashionable leather day bags. Kent travels the world selling his fun and creative handbags. We are so lucky to have him return to the Artisan Marketplace. Stetson does few shows a year, but chooses Marblehead because he has a wonderful following and loves being part of the Festival.

New Artist - Cesar Palma

Cesar creates jewelry with a nautical flair. Cesar uses lapidary techniques to inlay semi-precious stone, shells and organic material to create his pieces. Coming from Cape Cod, Cesar feels that living close to the ocean has been his greatest creative influence.
