The MFoA welcomes students to submit original art to the 2017 summer Marblehead Festival of Arts, which runs from July 1st through July 4th. Youth Division includes pre-school children through 4th grade, and Student Division includes 5th grade through 12th grade. .
Entry in this exhibit is for youth or students who live in Marblehead and attend schools or art studios outside of Marblehead. Students attending public schools or art studios in Marblehead will have artwork submitted through teachers ONLY. Art Drop-Off: only for students submitting independently (not through a teacher)
Old North Church – Monday, June 12th from 3 to 6 pm
Tuesday, June 13th from 3 to 6 pm
Judging takes place on Tuesday, June 13th.
The Awards Ceremony will be Friday, June 30 at 6 pm at Abbot Hall.
Art Exhibit Dates:
Accepted work will be displayed from July 1st through July 4th and may not be removed until 4:00 pm after the Festival closes on July 4th.
Accepted Work Pickup:
Tuesday, July 4th , 4-5 pm at Old North Church
Wednesday, July 5th, 6–8 pm at Old North Church
Teachers please inform parents of entered students about these pick up times if you are not arranging to pick up this art yourself!
