This summer represents a very special anniversary for Marblehead. The Marblehead Festival of Arts (MFoA) celebrates its 50th Festival. To launch the summer’s festivities, MFoA president Bill Smalley and the Board of Directors are hosting a donors and sponsors gala evening on Saturday, June 6th at the ocean front home of Nora and Alexander Falk. This festive evening recognizes and thanks major supporters of the Festival and will also include many Past Festival Presidents. Individuals and corporate sponsors contributing $400, or more, prior to June 1st will be invited to attend. The Gala will be held Saturday, June 6th from 6 to 8 PM and will include offerings from Shubie’s Market Place, Rumson’s Rum, as well as many of the MFoA Board member’s special samplings from their own kitchens as a more personal thank you for guests.
Lynne DeVoe, past president of the MFoA has coordinated the gala with Board member Julie Livingston. “As we commence the celebrations of our 50th Festival with this gala, we want to demonstrate our personal and heartfelt gratitude for the generosity and support of our neighbors and “Friends””, DeVoe commented. The Marblehead Festival of Arts is an all-volunteer organization that relies on the community for donations and volunteer support. “There is a very rich history of this organization within our community,” contributes Livingston.
