More on Marblehead

We are a small, beautiful coastal New England town in Essex County, Massachusetts. Aside from being home to many artists and the area’s premiere summer Arts Festival, the town boasts several great beaches and parks, a stunning lighthouse, a wildlife sanctuary and an active harbor famous with sailing enthusiasts around the world. Marblehead has a proud military heritage as the birthplace of the American Navy and Marine Corps Aviation. Archibald Willard’s famous painting The Spirit Of ’76 currently resides in Abbot Hall, our historic town hall built in 1877.
