(November 24, 2014) Looking for that perfect holiday gift? Shop local and visit the Holiday Artisans’ Marketplace hosted by the Marblehead Festival of Arts during the Christmas Walk weekend. Beautiful handcrafted clothing, jewelry, art and craft items will be available for purchase from a wide variety of vendors inside Abbot Hall On Saturday December 6 from 10-5pm and Sunday December 7 from 10-4pm.
“We look forward every year to having incredibly talented craftspeople come and take part in our Holiday Artisans’ Marketplace,” said Chair Kiki Taron Kinney, “It’s a wonderful opportunity to buy gifts you won’t find anywhere else.”
Participating vendors this year include Dot’s Pots, Old Town Nantucket Baskets, Goodness Remedies, Permanent Botanicals, Casey By Design, Seascape Creations, Duncan Designs, eglassylady, Cheeky Monkey, Lumiere Lauren, Jungwhon Joo Fine Enamel Jewelry, Wendy Jo New Metal Designs, Stanton Design, Felt Sutra, Green Mountain Glass, QuitsaKiki Designs, Landfall Gallery, Providence Art Glass, Doodlebug, LeFort Fine American Furniture, Canterbury Soaps and Marblehead Sail Bags.
The Festival’s own booth will feature a ballot box to receive your vote on 50th Celebration’s Logo and the always-popular Logo Store will be selling a variety of items. Lucille Grant, Chair of the Logo Committee explains, “This year we will be offering vintage logo product for sale as well as 2014 items. The wine glasses make terrific gifts.” Grant also said folks will receive a special surprise with each Logo Store purchase.
The Holiday Artisans’ Marketplace always includes several charitable non-profits participating in the event. This year’s participants will be Community of Friends, Making Ends Meet and Marblehead Harbor Rotary Club.
