On March 11. the Festival held a get-ready-for-summer Volunteer Recruitment Party at the Marblehead Arts Association; and on April 6, a Volunteer Party was held at the Corinthian Yacht Club. On hand to greet new volunteers were members of the Festival's Board of Directors, committee chairpersons, and veteran volunteers.
During March and April, the Festival operated a Volunteer Information Booth every Tuesday evening at The Landing Restaurant & Pub, 81 Front Street.
An all-volunteer organization, the Festival operates more than forty committees which cover art exhibits, events, and various support functions. Volunteers are always needed, especially this year. With July 4 falling on a Wednesday, the Festival will span five days.
