A Logo Competition is held annually to determine that year ’s official symbol and image for the Marblehead Festival of Arts. Our panel of judges selects several finalists (usually three) and the general public determines the winning entry by ballot. This exhibit displays the winning design, the finalists, and the semifinalists in the Festival’s annual Logo Contest. Also on display are logos from previous years. For details, see Logo Exhibit.

Award winning entries are published in a booklet, Writers ’ World Winners, which may be purchased at Writers’ World or at the Festival Logo Store.

Workshops
A series of workshops are offered during the Festival. For Exhibit and Workshop information, see Writers's World.

Literary Arts Café
The Caf é offers a comfortable place to discuss literary works, or just take a break, while enjoying coffee, tea, and light fare. For details, visit the Café.

Theatre Festival
Theatre has always been an integral part of every culture, reflecting and expanding the experience of those who are a part of that culture. From primitive storytelling to the massive, expensive formal productions of the present day, theatre informs, teaches, and profoundly affects us all.

The plays are presented in a staged reading format. Staged readings are plays read by actors, possibly with some movement and interaction between the actors. They use no sets; no stage lighting; and few, if any, props.

For more information, see Theatre Festival.
