Following the summer show, the Artisans’ Marketplace committee re-convenes to create a smaller winter show with room indoors for approximately 20 exhibitors. Our exhibitor list is developed from the summer program artisan’s applications plus other local artists with a specific holiday craft focus.
Look Who’ll Be There
Look for the booths of our attending Non-Profits, after all, it is the season for giving.
The committee strives to create a balanced presentation of media and crafts with a holiday theme, gift orientation, and a wide range of possible price points. Invitations are extended beginning with a weighting towards North Shore artisans and continue until our limit of twenty is confirmed. The Winter Artisans’ Marketplace always includes two charitable non-profits participating in the event.
Also at the winter show, Festival logo products are available for purchase, and a kiosk is set-up to receive your vote for the next Festival logo. This holiday version of the summer arts-and-crafts show is held inside Abbot Hall, the first weekend in December, in conjunction with Marblehead’s Christmas Walk, a town-wide event.
